Graphic Design Work

I began my graphic design career in college and took adjacent steps after I graduated to better understand what I wanted to do with my life.

I’ve always believed art is a vital form of communication and through the various jobs I have had, one of my most important lessons is how to reason visual thoughts and ideas to less aesthetically-focused individuals. My past employment is varied, but has always revolved around art or design.

I am a lifelong learner and love to continually reach for new projects to help identify a visual solution.

Just for Fun: The Battle of the Bands

In our phones under a section of notes we all have something “weird” or “different” that falls outside of the typical grocery list, recommended tv shows, or book list. For me, that list is a list of ongoing great band names. Now keep in mind, this is very subject so what may be a good band name to me, may not be to you. Nevertheless I have great memories associated with many of my band names. They are a bookmark in time of silly conversations with family and friends. To memorialize these band names, I have decided to bring them visually to life.

Below is the work I have compiled so far. Please enjoy the visuals, and if you have any band names you would like to see come to visual fruition, please reach out!

Band Name #1: Dizzy Baby

For this project I wanted to explore the different stylistic interpretations that ‘Dizzy Baby’ may fit to. One version of Dizzy baby may be an alt-indie Gen-Z band playing gigs within a 2 hour radius of their hometown and practicing in their moms’ basements, whereas another group may be dads by day and punk rockers by night. I’ve enjoyed playing with these different ideas and hope to continue building the brand for these different bands.
