Where do I begin?

While the photo here may picture me in front of NYC’s famous Flat Iron building, I am in fact a proud Mid-Western girl. I love art, meeting new people within my community, learning new skills and expanding on old ones, and spending time with my friends and family.

I gain inspiration from visiting new places and meeting new people. Sometimes I find it tough to slow down (I’m sure most people agree who live in this digital world), but giving myself time to reflect and sit allows me to find new creative freedom as well.

When I am slowing down it typically looks like (1) watching a reality t.v. show (Project Runway Season 21 was AMAZING), (2) baking sourdough bread, (3) reading a book that I almost finished a month ago, or (4) going on a long walk.
